Various attempts are made to change from the quantitative supply of housing to qualitative supply with the aim of housing welfare. The activation of community spaces among the various plans has an important impact on the formation of residential communities and the improvement of habitability. In this study, the current status and problems of our country are identified through theoretical consideration and prior study of public rental housing community facilities. It also investigates and classifies best cases such as foreign countries and proposes the long-term goal of community space in Korea. Although the reality is that the demand for community spaces is rapidly changing, laws and terms are not being correctly defined.
