바이오필릭은 자연의 가치를 중시하고 본능적으로 사랑하는 인간의 심리인 바이오필리아(Biophilia)에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 한다. 이러한 심리로 인해 사람들은 자연과 가까이 하고 싶어하며, 현대인들이 실내 공간에서 보내는 시간이 많아짐에 따라 자연을 내부 공간에 도입하는 시도들이 이루어지고 있다. 선행연구에서는 바이오필릭 디자인 패턴을 제시하여 바이오필릭 건축계획을 위한 기반을 마련하였지만, 이를 적용할 수 있는 건축 계획방법에 대한 연구가 부족하다. 또, 기존 건축물 사례들은 유사하고 한정된 방식으로 접근하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 바이오필릭 디자인의 활용방안을 제시함으로써 바이오필릭 디자인을 적용한 건축계획을 더욱 활성화하고 다양화하는 데에 궁극적인 목표를 두고 있다. 이를 위해 건축분야에서 인정받은 건축가들에게 수여되는 프리츠커상 수상자들의 작품을 분석하여 바이오필릭 디자인의 건축계획 방안을 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 바이오필릭 디자인을 적용하고자 하는 건축가들을 위한 참고자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다. |

As human beings inherently value nature, attempts are continuously being made to introduce nature into buildings. In previous studies,
Biophilic design patterns were presented to provide the basis for Biophilic architectural planning. However, existing building cases are
applying these patterns through similar and limited methods. Therefore, studies that can introduce various and creative planning methods for
designing biophilic buildings are needed. This study aims to present planning methods for designing Biophilic buildings by analyzing works
of architects, who were laureates of the Pritzker Architecture Prize. Cases were analyzed to examine planning methods of applying Biophilic
designs to architecture. The results of this study are expected to be used as reference materials for architects to design Biophilic buildings
which provide environments that connect with nature. |
