The absolute pressure change inside and outside of the building creates a pressure difference in the building, which causes infiltration and exfiltration. In addition, such infiltration and leakage may cause problems such as indoor air quality (IAQ), comfort, and energy. Since 2006, the application of ventilation system has been made mandatory for residential building with 100 or more households. Accordingly, the penetration rate of ventilation system in residential building is high. In addition, various studies on ventilation system control have been conducted. However, studies on the control considering the pressure are insufficient. Therefore, this study propose a control strategy of ERV (Energy Recovery Ventilation) system that considers pressure difference of building. For this, a control strategy of the ERV system was proposed, and the proposed control strategy was evaluated using simulation program TRNFLOW and compared with the existing control method in terms of indoor and outdoor pressure difference and IAQ. As a result of evaluation, it was confirmed that the pressure difference increased as the indoor pressure increased compared to the existing ERV system control, and the CO2 and PM2.5 concentration decreased. |
