본 연구는 현재 우리 사회에서 나타나는 가족의 변화와 개인의 중요성 증가와 관련하여 1920년대 소비에트 당시 가족을 대신하는 새로운 개인과 집단에 대한 개념으로부터 출발한 현대건축가동맹의 주거계획안을 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 통해 새롭게 나타난 다양한 단위주거 공간 구성개념을 탐구하고, 또한 사적공간과 도시 공공공간의 접속관계에 대한 다양한 가능성을 찾아보고자 한다. 연구결과 현대건축가동맹의 주거계획안은 소속기관의 변화나 주거에 대한 생각의 발전에 따라 7개의 시기로 분류될 수 있었으며 시기별로 다양한 유닛 구성방식이나 개인-도시 접속방식이 존재하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이들의 계획안에서는 공통적으로 기존의 가족공용공간이 단순히 집단이 사용하는 공용공간으로 대체되었으며 현재와 같은 개인적인 개실의 모습은 나타나지 않았음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 가족의 해체와 새로운 공동체를 주장하였던 소비에트 시기의 주거 계획안 들은 현대의 계획안들과 유사하게 보이나 오히려 전통적으로 나타나던 가족중심주거와 동일한 방법으로 제안된 것을 알 수 있다. |

In light of societal changes emphasizing the individual’s significance over the traditional family structure, this study delves into the housing
proposals put forth by the Union of Contemporary Architects (OSA) during the 1920s. Drawing upon the Soviet concept of new individuals
and collectives replacing the conventional family, this research investigates diverse concepts of spatial organization and the potential linkage
between private and public urban spaces. The results revealed that OSA’s proposals can be categorized into seven distinct periods, reflecting
changes in their organizational structure and the evolution of their housing ideas. Notably, these proposals present varied approaches to unit
configurations and the integration of individuals within the urban fabric. However, a recurring theme among them is the replacement of the
communal spaces traditionally centered around the family, now replaced by group-oriented communal spaces, without the inclusion of
individual rooms in the contemporary sense. Thus, while advocating for the dissolution of the family and the formation of new communities,
the housing proposals from that era demonstrate similarities to contemporary schemes while maintaining spatial organization and connections
reminiscent of traditionally family-centered dwellings. |
